A career progressing role that would suit an experienced Civil Project Manager Manager who undertake strategic leadership focusing on the delivery of their current and future pipeline of work.
The Civil Manager role, based out of Cromwell will be key in the continuation of their mission statement, Our team delivers with pride and care .
Having successfully delivered projects to a high standard since 2019 in the Central Otago Region, this can be seen with their multiple accreditations and accolades ranging from Environmental standards to Health and Safety.
About the Role
You’ll be confident in overall project management of operations ranging from Civil Construction, Landscaping, Surfacing, Road Maintenance, Cable & Pipe Location, Vegetation and other services.
Management of safety of operations in the business and on projects to align with the company’s safety objectives.
Overall project management of operations, working with the operations manager on allocation of resources to meet contract time frame requirements and meeting project budgets.
Leading pricing and tendering for a wide range of projects
Management of staff and plant resources within budgets while also ensuring that business and project targets are met
Client liaison and relationship management
Develop the Central Otago Civil Business to align with the company’s broader growth strategies
Skills & Experience required :
Strong Civil Project Management and Leadership skills
Ideally BE, BEngTech, NZCE (Civil) or Diploma in Engineering or equivalent
Experience in management of civil construction, roading and 3 waters projects
Experience in Tendering in Local Authority’s, NZTA and private works
Competent to a high level of computer skills in Microsoft Word, Excel and MS Project
Commitment to the highest standards of health and safety
The ability to lead and motivate teams to meet targets and objectives
