    About Our Team :

    The Policy branch brings together the Ministry's policy functions in one place and is an integrated, professional and thought-

  • leading provider of advice to the government. The Policy Deputy Chief Executive (DCE) Office is a small multi-functional team providing individual support and advice to the Policy Deputy Chief Executive (DCE);
  • strategic management support to the Senior Management Group (SMG); and strategy and planning, reporting and accountability and corporate management support to the branch as a whole.

    About the Role :

    As Senior Business Advisor, you will provide support and advice to the Manager of the DCE Office and work with other DCE Office team members to provide high quality strategic and business advice to DCE, Senior Management Group and the wider Policy branch.

  • have a good working knowledge of public service processes and will be able to quickly adapt to working in the Ministry.
  • be a trusted advisor who works collaboratively; integrity and resilience are paramount.
  • have a demonstrable ability to provide high quality strategic and / or business advice and support.
  • build effective channels of communication and quickly establish trusting working relationships.
  • be passionate about sharing knowledge and experience with and coaching and supporting others.
