Mō te tūnga The role
Our Data and Information Management team works across Stats NZ buiness to support better management of data, records, and other information resources.
As a Team Administrator, you'll assist with the operation of our library and carry out administrative tasks. The role is an opportunity to develop a range of practical skills in information management activities, particularly in the library services.
Day to day, you will answer general queries and requests while receiving support from experts in the team on more complex requests as well as :
Working in the Data and Information Management team, you'll be part of an engaging, inclusive and collaborative team. You will be supported by a great cohort of Advisors, Practice Leads and Business Analysts, who like you, are passionate on what they do.
This is a Wellington-based, part-time fixed term up until June 2022 covering parental leave. We are open to the days and hours that you work.
Starting salary $47,461 to $55,837 pro rata, negotiable depending on successful applicant's skills, experience.

Known for your attention to detail and organisational skills you'll ensure tasks are completed on time and at the expected quality.
As a quick learner and a self-starter you'll be able to juggle priorities with the flexibility to shift focus when required.
Given the nature of the role, you need some degree of fitness and be comfortable to retrieve and return boxes of physical material.
