This is a vital Leadership role where you will strategically oversee the road corridors asset management function, whom are the custodians of Auckland Transport portfolio of assets.
This is a key role where you will lead and maintain an asset management system for AT, including monitoring the performance of assets and formulating a prioritised operational programme of scheduled maintenance, renewals and upgrades.
You will lead a team of Asset Management Specialists, who work collaboratively with Auckland Council and it's CCOs whilst developing short and long term plans, policies, standards and performance criteria for AT assets.
To be considered for this opportunity, you will have : Team Leadership capabilities, ideally experience working within a large, complex environment.
10 years' experience in a senior management role, preferably strong experience in asset management and role in transport infrastructure.
Expert practical experience and theoretical knowledge in at least one engineering discipline and preferably other engineering disciplinesDemonstrated track record in asset management principles including sustainability and development of innovation solutionsExposure to commercial projects working in the private and public sectorHigh level of commercial acumen with ability to analyse and compare financial, economic benefits of investmentsDesirable will be your exposure to local government processes and legislationTrack record of bringing together a cohesive team to gain positive outcomesYou will be a proficient communicator with first-class communication and relationship building skills, able to easily coach and mentor your team on establishing effective working relationships across the business and external partners.
This role influences Auckland Transport whole of life asset outcomes through projects from minor maintenance, renewal of existing assets to major transformational projects and investment programming for existing and new assets such as AMETI, Downtown Development programme and CRL.
