What will you be doing?
You will be joining a small development team, working on bespoke web applications. The team are responsible for adding features and integrating them with existing applications for the business and clients.
This role will be working closely with the Tech Lead to deliver exciting projects which make real and visible changes to the business, and how we operate.
No two days will be the same and day to day activities will require you to :
Manage, design and implement enhancements for existing applications using the .NET platform.
Proactively work to improve front end applications using client-side libraries.
Identify opportunities and help design new applications through requirements definition and execution of strategy.
Integrate 3rd party APIs.
Optimise existing databases and data warehouses.
Support the Tech Lead by gathering and developing requirements for digital projects.
Quality assurance & testing : Continuous acceptance testing of delivered projects, creation of remediation policies.
Digital maintenance, content updates and BAU website configuration updates and changes as directed by the Tech Lead.
Investigate any technology issues on behalf of the team, solving where possible, or otherwise troubleshooting with Tech Lead and developers.
Systems Administration. Implementing system designs and changes in architecture, with the help of contractors. May include cloud hosting, Umbraco, Salesforce and DNN.
Skills & Experience
To be the successful applicant for this role you will need :
Minimum 5 - 7 years’ development experience.
Experience with technology relative to industry; .Net, C#, SQL Server, IIS, GitHub, Node.JS, API’s, AWS, CI / CD, ReactJS.
Experience with CRM systems (Salesforce) preferred but not a necessity.
Strong analytical, technical and problem-solving skills. Self-motivated, ability to work independently and as part of a team.
3+ years ReactJS experience
3+ years C# .NET experience
5+ years working with JavaScript technologies
Experience with RDBMS skills across MSSQL, MYSQL or PostgreSQL
Participation in code reviews
Help to identify technical and process risks that can impact delivery
Good written and verbal communication skills
Nice to have
Experience with Gatsby, NextJs, Typescript and Styled components
Experience with building an ecommerce platform
Experience with CI / CD tools with team city and octopus or similar
Experience with AWS serverless, lambda, API gateway, etc
