Key responsibilities and accountabilities of this role include, but are not limited to :
Managing our relationship with our third-party sales and merchandising agency.
Leading category development and revenue management in relation to Breakfast through category insights, scan, and shopper data analysis & trade strategies (assortment, price & promotion.)
Playing a key role in the development of our NPD pipeline for the breakfast business.
Delivering a robust sales forecast in line with the S&OP process.
Developing and maintaining positive business relationships with key customer contacts with the aim of increasing sales and growth opportunities.
To be successful in this role, you will have the following skills, knowledge, and experience :
Minimum of 5 years’ experience in FMCG sales experience managing all New Zealand grocery accounts, or a similar role, preferably in a complex manufacturing or food processing environment.
Experience in category development and trade spend optimisation.
Experience in managing a 3rd Party sales and merchandising company.
Excellent interpersonal skills.
Tenacious and takes initiative.
Delivers on commitments internally and externally.
Adept in identifying and managing demanding and difficult situations.
Works as a team player and goes out of the way to help.
Curious and analytical.
Good computer skills including the MS Office suite and ability to use other platforms.
