Based in our NZ Head Office in Parnell, the role of Account Manager Foodstuffs South Island is accountable for implementing our strategy and execution with the customer to drive profitable business growth that will deliver achievement of company targets and market share for the Kellogg’s NZ business.

This includes execution of promotional programs, range management, customer marketing and sales planning.

We’re looking for a self-motivated, energetic individual who is keen to further their career in the Grocery industry, who will work with the customer to deliver win / win outcomes and enjoys the fast paced nature of the FMCG industry.

Key responsibilities include :

  • Maintaining strong working relationships with key internal and external stakeholders
  • Managing volume, GSV and net sales budget objectives to deliver profit & market share for the NZ business
  • Managing and executing a promotional strategy within trade investment guidelines
  • Align with customer strategies, and track progress against key initiatives ensuring mutually beneficial growth.
  • Present all innovation inline with category strategy & customer timelines for execution.
  • Managing the Foodstuffs South Island orders and engaging the Demand and Logistics team in regular reviews
  • We’re looking for someone with the follows skills, experience & attributes :

  • Experience within the NZ Grocery market, preferably as an Account Manager, would also consider a Territory Manager who has had exposure to promotional planning, execution, and analysis.
  • A strong track record in delivering excellent results through sales and negotiation with customers
  • Ability to engage and influence others within the organisation and work cross-functionally to deliver results
  • Self-motivation with strong organisation and planning skills
  • Outstanding written and verbal communication and presentation skills
  • Proficiency in all MS Office
