We have an opening in our busy medical centre. This is aFull Time position working 40 hours across Monday to Friday.
The purpose of this role is to assist in the day to day running and management of the centre.
You responsibilities include but are not limited to :
Human Resources : conduct interviews, oversee recruitment, complete appropriate weekly reports, ensure personnel files are up to date.
Management and responsibility of Practice Administrator / Coordinator, Reception and Clerical Staff.
Continuous Quality Improvement and Risk Management. Being familiar with legislation and ensuring that the centre is legally compliant.
Maintain key internal and external relationships, to ensure a harmonious and professional working environment.
Building maintenance : includes but not limited to, over seeing the running of building contracts which includes maintenance and security.
You will bring to the role :
Prior experience in Practice Management in a GP practice.
Have strong interpersonal communication skills.
Be honest, reliable and self motivated.
Be able to work independently and in a team.
Have financial management or accounting skills.
Preferred candidates will have :
A tertiary education or higher level
Experience in managing a team in a fast changing environment
Finance degree would be a advantage
Worked in the Health sector or previous experience in a large seven day medical centre
