Corteva Agriscience?, Agriculture Division of DowDuPont? has an exciting opportunity for a Master Planner for the Australia / New Zealand region, located in New Plymouth.

This is an ANZ role which offers an experienced Supply and Production Planning Specialist the opportunity to make their mark within a brand-

About the role

Reporting to the ANZ Supply Chain Leader , this is a hands-on role responsible for the end-to-end supply planning for the New Plymouth manufacturing site that supports both New Zealand and Australia.

You will be accountable for generating and managing the Master Production Schedule, deciding what to make, how much and when to make it.

Your mandate : ensuring that products are available to meet the business? needs by balancing demand, supply and production capacity across the network.

While not a direct leadership position, this role is influential, working closely with many different internal and external stakeholders including the ANZ Sales & Marketing, Manufacturing, Global Procurement, and R&D teams, and will have input into new product introduction, inventory and local sourcing strategies.

Moreover, you will have the opportunity to provide coaching and guidance to improve overall business performance.

Qualifications & requirements :

  • Relevant bachelor?s degree (Supply Chain / Logistics, Engineering or Business Studies). APICS qualifications would be an advantage.
  • Experience in planning or broader supply chain roles would be valuable, including supply chain technology expertise (ideally SAP, APO).
  • Superior competency with Excel is expected.

  • Lean or Six Sigma certification would be an advantage.
  • Proven experience leading operational improvement projects that have resulted in optimised supply chain performance : service, delivery, cost, inventory performance, lead-times etc.
  • Hands-on and commercially astute with a good head for business. You?re comfortable with both ?big picture? thinking and micro-
  • detail depending on the task at hand. You have the ability to think and act strategically within a competitive and changing environment.

  • You?re a great communicator with a collaborative working style and the ability to develop strong business relationships.
  • You have the ability to anticipate, lead and build consensus quickly.
