The Role

Martin Brower are seeking a fulltime Transport Supervisor for our Auckland DC across Monday Friday 9am 5pm to supervise all operations facets of the transport operation and ensure that the distribution of goods to all of our Client’s restaurants are serviced in a timely and cost effective manner.

The Tasks

  • Lead your team and drive them to meet and exceed KPI’s
  • Ensure efficient and cost-effective daily operations are completed in support of the route schedule
  • Ensure hazard free workplace through daily department inspections and corrective actions
  • Promote safety and wellness awareness in the workplace
  • Participate in injury collision investigations
  • Ensure policies, procedures and programs are adhered to
  • Manage daily labour hours in conjunction with scheduled route hours
  • Ensure vehicle repairs and maintenance are complete and adhere to NZTA rules and regulations
  • Implementation of action plans to address systemic gaps to achieve budget
  • Identify cost saving initiatives
  • The Successful Candidate

  • Previous demonstrated supervisory experience in a warehouse / logistics / distribution business
  • Strong knowledge of WHS requirements
  • Experience with Telematics and TMS systems
  • Strong knowledge of food safety, DQMP and quality systems
  • Sound knowledge on industrial relations, enterprise agreements, costing principals and budgeting
