Who are we looking for?

We are looking for an Operator Specialist / Truck Driver to join our team in New Plymouth and deliver the good work Fulton Hogan is known for.

The job

This is an exciting opportunity for a Truck Driver with experience operating machinery, who is keen to work on the ground with our crew! You will be based out of our New Plymouth office and work within a close-knit and hardworking team.

As an Operator Specialist / Truck Driver, you will be responsible for operating a wide range of plant and driving trucks to and from our sites around the region.

You’ll use your good people skills to build genuine and lasting relationships with our customers, and our people (we’re one big whanau).

And you’ll have the skills and experience to help us achieve our strategic objectives.

  • Experience and attributes;
  • Minimum Class 4 license. Class 5 license strongly preferred or a willingness to obtain ASAP.
  • Proven experience driving Class 4 or 5 trucks.
  • Proven machinery operation experience within a construction environment.
  • Ability and willingness to work on the ground with crews.
  • Possess an excellent, can-do attitude.
  • Willingness to go the extra mile and undertake all types of work.
  • Be an enthusiastic team player.
  • An unwavering commitment towards living safely with a safety record to match.
  • Be self-motivated and driven to succeed.
