    We are looking for a leader who can work collaboratively and leverage intelligence and insights to improve digital safety for all New Zealanders.

    About the Role :

    Reporting to the Director Digital Safety, this leadership role will have overall responsibility for driving intelligence and insights, implementing initiatives which support the wider group to prevent and mitigate harm and strengthen digital safety for New Zealanders.

    Critical to the success of this role will be your strategic experience in collating and analysing information to add value to business decisions, champion innovation and grow the capability to deliver easy to understand insights for both now and the future.

    Of key importance will be your ability to create an agile and high performing team as you strive for a culture of excellence while fostering an environment of continual coaching and development and one that works to best practice to meet our compliance, governance and legal obligations.

    Taking a collaborative approach, you will utilise your strong networks to appropriate intelligence gathering resources, working with a range of partnership agencies and communities both local and international, to optimise our resources and provide recommendations for continuous improvement

    The will require you to :

  • Communicate results of complex data, analysis and findings into meaningful and actionable insights for key stakeholders
  • Ensure that an increasingly diverse workforce is treated equally, fairly and with respect, and that staff are demonstrably valued and engaged
  • Provides recommendations to resolve t and / or reduce impact of incident to assist in preventing future digital threat or harm
  • Be able to proactively challenge the status quo, think outside of the box and inspire and motivate others
  • Display strong leadership to coach and mentor others combined with personal integrity
  • Act as a steward for all digital data, ensuring data integrity, quality and cleanliness
  • Build awareness of analytical solutions and best practices to expand data-driven business decisions
  • Experience working with security intelligence, data analytics, security incident response, and investigation teams
  • Conceptual thinker who can translate, guide and develop a comprehensive understanding of intelligence data in relation to risk & compliance
  • Possess a high level of critical thinking and trouble shooting skills while remaining calm in a high pressure dynamic environment
  • Self-motivated and directed with excellent listening and interpersonal skills
