We are looking for :

  • Nēhi Kaupapa Māori, (Registered Nurse), preferably with minimum 2 years' nursing experience to join our Community Nurse Services
  • Vaccinating experience an advantage
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills, with a commitment to te reo me ona tikanga.
  • Driven to apply Te Aō Māori views, concepts, knowledge, and practices in your work
  • Demonstrates, exudes, and embeds behaviours consistent with He Pou Oranga Tāngata Whenua and the BOPDHB Manaakitanga values.
  • What you can expect day-to-day :

  • This position is in Kaupapa Community Service, providing home based nursing care for whānau
  • Support from an enthusiastic team
  • A dynamic, fast paced environment well supported in terms of your professional development and wairuatanga
  • Championing and supporting Toi Ora knowledge and competence within the workforce
  • Following the update to COVID-19 Public Health Response (Vaccinations) Order 2021, to be employed with Bay of Plenty DHB you will be required to be fully vaccinated as a health care worker.

    Evidence of your vaccination status will be required at offer stage. If you do not meet this criteria, we are unable to progress your application.
