In this role you will :

  • Provide outstanding leadership to promote a high performance, quality focused, team culture.
  • Have strong relationship skills, being personable, upbeat and genuinely caring about our people and promoting their safety and wellbeing.
  • Guide the team with a hands-on approach to supporting day to day manufacturing operations.
  • Oversee the on-going development and implementation of quality systems in order to achieve product and plant compliance.
  • Deliver optimal plant performance and ensure that continuous improvement underpins daily operations and decision making.
  • Contribute to planning and strategic decision making regarding resources, capacity, continuous improvement and future initiatives.
  • The Person :

    You will have experience in leading and developing a high performing manufacturing team through exceptional communication and relationship skills and a quality focussed approach.

    You will also have excellent problem solving abilities, as well as the ability to positively influence others. Ideally you will be tertiary qualified with experience in can manufacturing operations and lean manufacturing.
