    Over 300 people from 10 different engineering disciplines work out of our Christchurch office, which has a depth of knowledge and exciting office culture that enables our people to play a huge role in the day to day life of people in Canterbury.

    We are looking for a Technical Director Civil Engineering to join us and work with key clients in the civil infrastructure sector.

    Project work typically encompasses medium to large projects across the South Island, but you will also have the opportunity to work on other projects throughout New Zealand and across the Pacific.

    Every day will provide you with new challenges and look a little different, overall, this role will see you :

  • Provide technical direction and leadership on a range of projects across general civil, land development and roading.
  • Be experienced in work planning and financial management,
  • Lead and participate in design teamson medium to large projects locally, throughout New Zealand and across the Pacific.
  • Network, develop and grow relationships with clientsand the infrastructure business
  • Be passionate about learningand develop and mentor others to grow fulfilling careers
  • About you

    You love to learn and share knowledge and someone who can bring a fresh perspective to ensure the development of the people around them and who constantly seeks better practice for the overall quality of our work and our client experience.

    You are a Chartered Civil Engineer with a strong track record of delivering civil projects, experience in dealing with local authorities, commercial developments and utility providers.

    Being a values-driven individual, you will enjoy sharing the successes of your colleagues and delivering excellence.

    Your strengths in technical leadership, project delivery, client relationships and in guiding and mentoring staff will ensure your success.

    Your passionate about the opportunity to grow others, motivated by being in leadership roles with the ability to own’ the delivery of quality client outcomes throughout the region.
