Registered Nurse Emergency Department

We are currently seeking part-time permanent Registered Nurses to join our team in the Emergency Department at Tauranga hospital.

We provide 24 hour emergency care to both the adult and paediatric population in the Bay of Plenty.

Our Nursing team consists of the following :

  • Clinical Nurse Manager
  • 4 Associate Clinical Nurse Managers
  • 70+ Registered Nurses
  • 6 Health Care Assistants
  • 2 Nurse Practitioners
  • 4 Clinical Nurse Specialist.
  • We work alongside our medical team, administration and allied health colleagues.

    The successful applicant would have a minimum of two years acute care experience and have the ability to adapt to a busy and unpredictable working environment.

    A calm demeanor along with a good sense of humour is essential in this role. You will be working with a supportive, dedicated and social team of people who pull together when it matters.

    In return we provide a generous orientation programme tailored to the needs of the successful applicant. Further orientation days are provided prior to you moving to the more acute care areas as required.

    There are also many in-house educational opportunities such as ALS, PALs, NLS.
