We have a vacancy for a reliable andenthusiastic person to join our Early Learning Centre as an Administrator for20 hours per week.

About the role :

The primary function of the Administrator(Kaiwhakarite) is toprovide quality administrative support and technicalassistance by :

  • Maintaining the ECE databases
  • Providing reception duties
  • Distributing resources through theappropriate booking system
  • Initiating requisition processes
  • Supporting the maintenance of siteresources
  • Undertaking day-to-day siteoperations and activities
  • Providing support for site events
  • Facilitating internal and externalcommunications as required
  • Incumbents will be required to work acrossall administrative areas and at times may be required to assist on the floorwhere tamariki and kaiako ratios are insufficient to meet ELC requirements.

    Aboutyou :

  • You will havea Certificate in Business Administration or Computing(Level 3), at least two years’ experience in an administration role;
  • excellentskills in Word and Excel and experience working with data bases with a Full NZDrivers Licence. An understanding of / orexperience in the tertiary education sector and Te Reo Māori skills are alsodesirable.

    This position is classed as a Core Workerunder the Vulnerable Children’s Act and will need to pass a safety check underthe Vulnerable Children’s Act 2014.

    A full NZ Driver’s License (Class 1) is essential and a moderate level of fitnessis required.
