The vacancy is for a 6 month fixed term position.
This is a unique opportunity to make a real impact through your work. In this role you will guide and support young people and their whanau, raise their aspirations and assist the young person into work, training or further education opportunities.
As a personal advisor you will provide one on one support / coaching to rangatahi (15-21 years old) who live or have lived in care and are transitioning into their adult lives.
You will develop a pathway plan with the young person to increase their employability skills and enhance their social participation and engagement.
Of particular importance is our valuing of diversity and our commitment to our bi-cultural journey. You will have a genuine appreciation for how we integrate Māori and Pasifika kaupapa into our daily working life.
We provide our services to the young people living all across the wider Auckland region with the main office in New Lynn.
