Working closely with multiple teams across the business, your role will see you : Act as technical subject matter expert on data architecture Big Data, Cloud, EIM and next generation technology offeringsCollaborate closely with teams to evangelise the joint data strategy and participate in the execution of itConduct a detailed assessment of data landscape including data platforms, technology architecture, data flows, data consumption, data integrationProvide input into the cloud strategy from a data architecture point of viewCreate visual documentation on the current state that articulates pain points, bottlenecks and opportunitiesDevelop future state architecture and process / data flows to realize a data strategy that aligns with our Analytics roadmapDocument and present data strategy to clients, gain buy in, and grow strategic relationshipsParticipate in setting objectives, scope and develop a roadmap for the data initiatives that support the client leadership in meeting their objectivesEvaluate and recommend new tools and technologiesEducate team and squads in the available technologies and general best practicesHelp building a team by mentoring junior practitioners as they build complex strategy and solutionsAbout youYou are deeply in touch with emerging trends and technology and still love to code.

We need someone who lives and breathes innovation in Data / Cloud technology but also someone astute enough to navigate interdependencies within complex large-scale corporate settings.
To be considered, you will bring : A broad range of relevant practical experiences including working within dataTertiary qualified (ideally working towards a post-graduate qualification) or equivalent experience, in the design of digital products and services.
Hands-on experience in technical software architecture, design and building proof of concept softwareFamiliar with hybrid platforms, with multi-cloud patterns and practicesSolid understanding of variety of programming languages, tools and development platformsExperience with API gateways and microservices architectureStrong written and presentation skills.
Experience with ITaaS, IaaS, PaaS, FaaSProven ability to manage across all levels in an organisation and maintain strong working relationships across the organisationProven ability to engage and motivate othersBe collaborative and inquisitive, with a growth mindset, to ensure we bring the best way forward for our data platformIt is a unique career opportunity-one where you will be given scope to share your ideas and genuinely have input.
