    For this role, and as a Functional Application Support Analyst for the ADHB, you will be a confident and experienced IT enthusiast to join the Clinical Workstation Support team.

    This role will provide functional application support for the users of clinical systems at ADHB.

    You will provide support / functional knowledge / configuration / testing / education and documentation to support the systems and processes, for the clinical systems.

    This role requires high levels of communication and cooperation, and you will engender a culture that values and promotes the use of information to inform decisions, support performance and monitor the quality, effectiveness and efficiency of service delivery.

    You will be required to : -

  • Assess new business IT initiatives and requests and provide expert advice on best fit and suitability of applications to provide solutions
  • Ensure the integrity of interfaces with other systems both internal and external to ADHB
  • Collate user and self-initiated ideas for enhancements to supported systems
  • Test new functionality prior to upgrades of supported systems and ensure smooth transition between versions
  • Complete daily administration tasks required for ongoing function of supported systems
  • Provide a project lead function - delivering solutions alongside business owners and healthAlliance
  • Set up standardised on-going support and implementation models
  • Participate in planning user support, system configuration, testing, training and documentation
  • Participate in other Information Management Service projects as directed by the Health Information Manager
  • Ideally you will have had some experience with VB, Java, Java Script, HTML, SQL and some knowledge of healthcare processes.

    You will also have a strong understanding of MS applications including Access and Outlook and your ability to prioritise goals, communicate efficiently and manage your workload effectively will be an asset.
