A rare opportunity exists to join the GPC Asia Pacific Business Systems team in the Senior EUC & Infrastructure Engineer role at our Mt Wellington Support Office reporting directly to the IT Service Delivery Manager.
The purpose of this role is to ensure that IT Technology within the NZ organisation is supported by a senior IT Engineer, that can own and deliver a high level of service / solutions to all stakeholders in a timely and effective manner whilst managing conflicting priorities and ensuring stakeholder satisfaction.
This is a hands-on role that requires a self-starter that can work autonomously and deliver on GPC values on each occasion.
As the single onsite team member located in Mt Wellington, you will be required to manage duties between supporting executives and the business team located within the NZ support office, supporting the broader NZ business in ensuring the availability of service to the GPC Asia Pacific network of stores, warehouse and offices over 500+ locations in Australia, New Zealand and China.
The ideal candidate must be passionate about I.T, provide exceptional customer service and be able to work across technology boundaries to support our NZ business and delivery on Service level Agreements.

Key Responsibility Areas (KRA)
Own the relationship with key personnel located at the Support Office in Mt Wellington
Manage a high level of engagement with technical operation leads located in Australia
Coordinated execution of projects task with support of Technical Leads and Project Managers
Deliver weekly updates to service delivery manager on support provided and progress
Ensure support office I.T services are well maintained and operational
Provide priority assistance for on-site support at Mt Wellington Support Office
Manage IT Asset within the NZ region and ensure compliance with standards
Maintaining at all-times a strong focus on effective delivery of service to variable business units
Action new and existing tickets escalated via the IT Service Management Tools
Liaise with external third-party vendors to support business requirements
Supporting the organisation in accordance with GPC Asia Pacific’s procedures and policies
Troubleshooting of device issues, software and web applications
Liaise with internal staff to ensure a high satisfaction of services are met
Creating and maintain corporate knowledge base articles
Perform housekeeping activities to keep the working environment to high standards
Manage corporate assets and security standards
Role Requirements
Graduate diploma in Information Technology or equivalent
5+ years’ experience working in a Senior Support Role with multiple disciplines
Proficient in time & priority management
Skilled in the use of Service Now for IT Service Management
Expert knowledge in Active Directory (Users, Groups, Policy)
Proficient in application patching and deployment via SCCM
Extensive experience in 0365 service management (Email, Teams & Office Apps)
Excellent knowledge of windows 10 Operating system & corporate applications
Expert in creation of Knowledge base articles & keeping documentation
Capable of maintaining high delivery & presentation standards
Basic Network Knowledge (Diagnose Communication issues)
Capable of forming and maintaining positive and productive working relationships
Experienced in reporting to senior I.T management
