Process system uploads and data entry, eg monthly batch posting, and GL journals. Create journals as required to ensure accuracy and completeness of the books of accounts.
Assist with balance sheet reconciliations. Assist in the preparation of year-end internal communication. Assist with external auditors’ queries as required.
Work on different sections of the annual financial statements as required, including drafting confirmation letters,and stock take procedures.
Answer queries from across the University about GL and sub-ledgers. Maintain an up-to-date filing system and ensuring all information is referenced for easy access.
Job sharing with other Financial Reporting team members in order to provide back-up in the absence of a teammember. Assist in preparation of Ministry of Education, Tertiary Education Commission, and Department of Statisticsreturns.
