Due to internal movement, we are looking for TWO Butchery Specialists one in Auckland and one in Wellington. Use your business acumen and knowledge of best practice in a butchery environment to add value to our stores all over the Central North Island.
As a Butchery Specialist, you’ll coach and mentor butchery managers across your portfolio of stores to promote excellence in category performance and deliver growth in store.
About the role
Using robust planning and financial data, you’ll identify and realise opportunities and put innovation into practice to achieve retail excellence.

With a passion for meat and an operational awareness of retail butchery, you’ll have a good knowledge of meat varieties, trends and cuts, including value add creation such as sausage making.
Previously a butcher or having run a butchery, you’ll have :
Self-assured when building relationships, you’ll have strong communication skills, good time management and will be comfortable working alone.
