In the role of Director, Partnerships you will report to the Deputy Director-General, Partnerships and lead a small team who work flexibly across New Zealand on partnerships projects to deliver step-
change' conservation growth.
Current focus areas for our partnerships work are :
To be successful in this role you will be a highly skilled strategic leader, able to lead effectively in circumstances of complexity and ambiguity and able to demonstrate whole of system thinking.
You will have superb relationship skills and be capable of operating with multiple partners in a co-design environment. An understanding and knowledge of conservation management work or experience in a relevant sector would be an advantage but is not essential.
The preferred location for the second vacancy is Taupo however other provincial centres in the North Island below Auckland and above Wellington will be considered.
