This is a newly created role to support a programme to refresh our core product system.

The Head of Migration will closely with Technology & Operations, and Customer, Products and Services on a combined project.

As Head of Migration, you will lead the approach to, and the execution of successful migration of customers' accounts from products managed in legacy systems to products managed in new systems and drive all aspects of data reconciliation.

You will have a commercial mindset, a resolute focus on customer outcomes, exceptional stakeholder management skills and leverage your internal networks and knowledge to lead accurate migrations.

This position is a key role within BNZ and as such requires someone with strong commercial acumen, resilience and leadership skills.

Our preferred candidate will have the following :

  • Experience in leading large scale migrations and data reconciliation with an excellent understanding of commercial accounting, risk mitigation, documentation, and a sound understanding of banking products.
  • Superior analytical and problem-solving skills, and strong attention to detail
  • Ability to work to tight timeframes and perform under time pressure
  • Strong relationship building skills and extensive network
  • Negotiation skills at senior management (CFO, CEO, Board) level
  • Proven people leadership capabilities, engaging and inspiring others
