To excel in BAS (Business Advisory Services) you need to not only understand financial concepts, but also be a great communicator, be able to work with and without guidance and as part of our team.


This exciting role in our Takapuna office will provide you with a challenging and rewarding career where you will be exposed to a variety of client work and client contact right away.

You will work with a Partner who is a market leader and sits on the BDO Executive team, the opportunity to learn and develop is up to you!

This role is based in a high performing team with a large proportion of consulting work for you to get stuck into.

We are looking for an exceptional person with three or more years accounting experience in a CA environment. There will be a lot of exposure to a variety of business sectors and we are ideally looking for someone who is commercially savvy along with strong accounting skills.

To be successful in this role you will need :

  • At least 3 years of solid BAS experience in a CA environment and we are open to someone with more experience!
  • A Bachelor’s degree in Accounting
  • CA qualified
  • Preferably experience in a Mid-tier or Big4 environment
  • Sound knowledge of complex accounting and business matters
  • Exceptional client service
