    About the Role :

    This is an exciting opportunity for a motivated professional to join and lead a dynamic team that is dedicated to really making a difference in our people's lives.

    We are looking for an enthusiastic Manager who has a solid background within mental health.

    Manage two community based services.

    Service 1 : Employment Service with four Employment Consultants supporting clients with Alcohol & Other Drug challenges to find meaningful employment.

    Service 2 : Emergency Housing contract with 2 Mental Health Professionals supporting those with both mental health support needs and housing instability issues.

    You will be experienced in managing, leading, coaching and mentoring staff whilst creating innovative solutions for service delivery.

    You will be passionate about seeing people achieve their goals. You need to be resilient, a great problem solver & be able to utilize interpersonal savvy to make the most out of daring situations and create a positive working environment despite daily challenges.

    This is a permanent part time (20 hours per week) position. The hours of work are negotiable and flexible between the hours of 8am and 6pm - Monday to Friday.

    This role does also include on call responsibilities as part of a roster with other Service Managers that requires availability evenings and weekends.

    You'll need :

  • Management experience including managing people within the social services sector
  • Proven experience working positively with internal and external stakeholders to achieve service objectives
  • At least two years' experience working in the mental health and / or alcohol and other drug sector
  • A relevant level 7 tertiary qualification in health or management.
  • To be able to demonstrate successfully developing and implementing strategies that has the outcome of Māori succeeding as Māori behaviour
  • Good communications skills to effectively communicate with the people in the community, kaimahi, tangata whaiora and their whānau
  • A Full New Zealand Driving Licence
