ABOUT THE ROLE
The role is a mixture of business development and account management with business opportunities right here in Christchurch and the wider South Island.
You will be required to hit certain KPI's in this challenging yet rewarding role.
ABOUT YOU
Due to the industry in terms of the complexities of understanding the operational side of freight forwarding our ideal candidate would ideally have had recent freight forwarding experience.
We are keen to hear from existing BDM's as well as individuals on the senior operational side of freight forwarding hungry to give sales a crack.
2-3 years Freight forwarding experience
B2B solution selling experience
Cold calling experience
Relationship building skills
Strong time management
Strong communication; verbal and written
Excellent negotiation and numerical skills
Professional attitude and presentation as well as highly motivated
A thirst for challenges, and you're not afraid of hard work
Ability to update and maintain detail and information in a CRM system
