Chubb New Zealand are seeking a Fire Alarms Technician to be based at our Wellington branch, servicing Wellington and the surrounding area.
This role will be responsible for the repair and maintenance of a wide range of fire protection systems and equipment on our clients premises.
As the first line of contact, we are looking for an individual who has great customer focus and is able to provide quick and quality service to our clients
Key responsibilities of the role :
Mobile servicing of fire protection systems including electronic panels, sensors and associated equipment.
Repair of any defects to ensure fire protection systems remain operable.
Provide quality customer service to clients on site.
Provide on call assistance on a rostered basis one week in every four.
To be successful in the role, you will be required to have :
A strong track record in a similar fire protection service role
In depth knowledge of current fire alarm technology and applicable standards
Excellent customer service and time keeping skills.
Strong communication and reporting abilities
Experience using MS Office software and mobile planning technology
Current drivers license and ability to pass a police check or obtain security license
The ability to lead, supervise and mentor other technicians will be highly regarded
