About the Position :
As the Senior Manager of Sales Operations, you will be part of a support system for the Sales organization and key advisor to the Sales leadership for the APJ region.
You will be responsible for partnering with the Sales teams and overall sales ecosystem, building strong relationships across other functional departments to influence decisions, drive process optimization and improve overall salesforce effectiveness.
You will report to the Director of Sales Operations, based in North America, and work closely with the rest of the Global Business Operations teams and other local APJ teams, to leverage and build on best practices.
As the first Sales Operations member based in APJ, you are a strong individual contributor, confident and experienced and able to operate fairly independently.
Key responsibilities :
Act as a trusted advisor and partner to the business with credibility and influence, from strategy to execution.
Simplify and optimize reports or related infrastructure make consumption of reports accessible and relevant for senior leaders.
Identify areas of risk or opportunity by conducting detailed analysis of forecast, pipeline and trending data, with ability to translate quantitative data into actionable recommendations.
Drive best practices in sales forecasting processes, including coaching sales leaders, and staying closely connected with overall pipeline movement and large deal activity.
Partner with Sales leadership and other teams to amalgamate disparate processes into the Sales Excellence framework allowing for consistent processes around deal execution, GTM, Forecasting and Deal Management.
Champion the integration of the teams across our APJ regions and consolidate processes into a single global approach.
Identify opportunities to improve sales effectiveness. Coordinate cross-functionally to deliver process improvements, playbooks, toolkits, and skills development.
Partner with colleagues across Services, Marketing, HR, IT and Finance to drive cross-functional improvements.
Provide proactive, data-driven insights and recommendations on pipeline, segmentation and targeting, and sales motion.
Focus on streamlining and automating processes, with a passion for data and analysis.
Offer input into sales compensation and incentive programs aligned with business goals.
Create leader-ready decks, with accurate data and relevant insights.
Support special projects, as required.
Strong executive presence and communication skills, and an ability to lead through influence and credibility across an organization.
Solid leadership skills with the ability to act independently and with minimal direction.
Strong understanding of the sales process with the ability to translate that knowledge to the Technology and the Sales teams.
Excellent analytical skills combined with strong problem solving and organization skills, along with attention to detail and strong logical reasoning.
Sharp business judgement, strong project-management skills, and demonstrated leadership abilities.
Experience / Education Requirements :
Bachelor's degree in Business-related discipline; MBA and / or CPA an asset
7+ years of relevant experience in Sales, Sales operations, Finance or Management consulting
Salesforce.com reporting and analytics experience required, with experience in Einstein Analytics an asset
Experience with PowerBI or Tableau, or some data visualization tool
Industry experience in B2B, HCM and / or SaaS technology an asset
