Job Description

The Opportunity Join the team as a Civil Construction Department Manager based in Christchurch.You will be Responsible for : Provide leadership and manage the day to day requirements for the department.

Lead, manage and enhance safe systems, processes and culture in relation to Health & SafetyLead and oversee tendering, negotiations, pricing and variationsEnsure that projects are delivered on time and within the scope of the projectPrepare and manage project budgets & monitor financial performance implementing corrective action initiatives if necessaryRoutine interfacing & updating the clientWhat we need from you?

Relevant experience in civil construction at Site Engineer position or aboveRelevant tertiary qualification preferredKnowledge of all aspects of the contracting process and technical requirementsExcellent leadership qualitiesExceptional organisational skillsIntermediate software and computer skillsSound attitude and ability to get the job doneStrong communication, leadership skills and business acumenDetailed knowledge of project and construction managementAbility to analyse complex problems and develop strategies that provide solutionsDetailed understanding of quality, safety and environmental proceduresFulton Hogan Philosophy We build and maintain critical infrastructure that connects and enhances communities across Australia, New Zealand and the Pacific.
