Greater Wellington Regional Council is looking for an Asset Analyst tojoin our Parks department.

Wellington's Regional Parks are a highly valued community resource, andmake a superb scenic backdrop to the urban setting of the region.

The ParksDepartment manages all aspects of ensuring that the Region’s network of parksis run efficiently and effectively, from managing land and assets and heritageand biodiversity values of our park land, to promoting recreational andeducational opportunities.

About the role :

As an Asset Analyst, you will provideexpert Asset Management System analysis, quality control of data and providesupport for the parks department.

Key aspects of the role include : -

Expert ERP / Asset Management System analysis and assets maintenanceplanning

Manage the ERP / Asset Management System and associated GIS / GSPsystem data object and provide support and training to the Parks department

Quality control of data and information

Input into relevant Parks plans

Asset insurance and revaluation and capitalisation

To be successful in this positionyou will have : -

Excellent communication skills

Strong attention to detail with accurate data entry skills

Proven practical experience of financial management and assetmanagement systems

Ability to quickly learn asset management systems and GISapplications

Advanced data management and computer skills

Knowledge and experience in contracts and procurement.

There will also be the occasional opportunity to get outin our parks to capture Asset data or counter information.
