CONTINUOUS IMPROVEMENT (CORE) / EHS FOCAL
CHCEC is looking for a motivated self-starter to join our CORE / EHS Focal team as a Continuous Improvement and EHS team member.
The primary purpose of this role is to champion, coach and engage CORE activities and undertake assigned EH&S functions at business and operational levels.
Ideally you will have an Engineering qualification with exposure to Lean Waste Reduction techniques, use of CORE / Lean / Continuous Improvement tools which will be part of your skillset, whilst identifying opportunities for improvement.
The position reports to the CORE Coordinator and has touch points with internal customers, Leads and Managers.
This position would suit a team player who has demonstrated experience and a real passion for continuous improvement, with a confident communication style who can champion this function within the business.
The successful candidate will need to have a willingness to learn and share their knowledge. You will have the opportunity to enhance this position, particularly using Microsoft tools including Excel, so advanced Excel skills would be an advantage along with strong I.T. skills.
Approximately 20% of the role is also championing EHS, so enthusiasm for EHS and improving EHS systems is essential.
