Fujitsu has an opportunity for a Senior Onsite Technician to join an onsite team supporting a large Public Sector client in .

In this role you will provide a first-class End User experience, supporting infrastructure services across multiple technology streams including, Hardware, Operating Systems Windows 7 through to Windows 10, Software, Networks, Server, and Print devices.

Our client has a predominantly Microsoft base, and we are therefore looking for someone with a solid background supporting Windows environments and Microsoft applications.

With a focus on first touch resolution, you will be someone who really knows their stuff and can take end to end ownership of issue resolution.

This is a senior team role supporting an account of approximately 6,000 users and will see you assuming the role of technical lead and acting as an escalation point for complex issues.

Building your own path to success :

To be successful in this role, you will have :

  • A clear and confident communication style with the ability to build and develop strong customer relationships
  • Experience in providing supervision and support to team members including basic training
  • Advanced Technical knowledge of hardware and peripherals i.e. laptops, notebooks, workstations desktop PC’s, printers, media and audio-visual equipment BYOD and mobility
  • Knowledge of desktop & software applications eg : Operating Systems (Windows 7 through 10), Microsoft Office 2007 through 365, Antivirus software and systems;
  • Understanding in Active Directory, Microsoft Exchange, SCCM, End-Point Imaging, SOE principles and concepts
  • Working knowledge of IT infrastructure and network equipment eg : routers, switches, servers, virtualization, VPN, RSA, Citrix, VMware, Hyper-Converged Infrastructures
  • Knowledge of the ITIL framework and previous use of an Incident Management tool
  • A relevant IT qualification
