The National Adult & Paediatric Metabolic Service is seeking a Nurse Specialist to join the team in a part-time capacity.

Senior nursing opportunity (20 hours per week) Work across Adult & Paediatric departments TheMetabolic Service is a national service that manages outreach clinics to other District Health Boards across New Zealand.

Whilst based in Auckland at Starship Child Health, this is anationalservice that sees adults and children from all around the country.

  • As a Nurse Specialist you willutilise your extensive knowledge around Metabolic Diseases to provide expert care. Every day you will exercise proficient assessment skills;
  • knowledge of management options, surveillance and case management. You will play a key part in education delivery to patients, and you will liaise with other DHBs, facilities and agencies to coordinate optimum care.
