The purpose of this role is to provide :

  • Provide technical leadership on water treatment projects across New Zealand and supporting our broader ANZ business
  • Lead the development of solutions to (potentially) complex problems requiring understanding of practices, techniques, concepts and theoretical principles.
  • Take an active leadership role in multidisciplinary water treatment projects
  • Support project managers and project directors in the delivery of our water treatment projects
  • Establish and maintain relationships with key water clients.
  • Support the ongoing development and implementation of our strategy for growth in water treatment and the broader water market, identifying work winning strategies and solutions
  • Provide mentoring and coaching for our growing water treatment team.
  • This role will also be the Drinking Water Process Treatment Lead for NZ responsible for growing relationships with clients in the water treatment space, identifying opportunities, and supporting delivery of these.

    This person will have strong linkages to our principal water engineers globally, to help increase our track record for delivery in this space in ANZ and ultimately helping to grow a team of capable water treatment process engineers.

    Here's What You'll Need :

  • Relevant tertiary qualifications (chemical or mechanical engineering or similar)
  • Greater than 12 years relevant industry experience in the water industry within a consulting business environment
  • demonstrated design / supervisory experience of multidisciplinary water treatment projects
  • Demonstrated ability to grow and develop others through sharing of knowledge and expertise
  • Ability to communicate with people at all levels in both technical and non-technical environments, both written and verbal
  • Ability to prioritise and organise own work and that others work on water treatment projects, within time and quality demands of project plans
