Access Community Health is looking for a registered nurse to join our District Nursing team to provide outstanding care to our clients in the community.
What does a District Nurse do?
District Nursing is a diverse role working with clients in their own home. This role would suit someone with medical and surgical experience.
As a district nurse you would be expected to undertake woundcare, catheter care, medication administration and general health assessments.
Most of the role is woundcare so having an interest and experience in this is an advantage. You need to have great communication skills, prioritisation skills, work collaboratively within a team and have great computer skills.
You will enjoy working in a team, being exposed to clinical experiences not available to those in a large tertiary hospital while enjoying the benefits of professional development and career opportunities in a large organisation.
What are we looking for?
