Your Role Due to the growth of our DOmestic Overland product offering, we have an exciting opportunity for an experienced Business Development Manager to join our Auckland Sales team.

This role is best suited to someone who has a solid understanding of the New Zealand Domestic Transport market, is self-driven and motivated to hit and exceed targets.

Ideally you will come with a partial client portfolio and have gained experience in a similar environment. You will be entrepreneurial, resilient and able to quickly gain credibility with a range of different people.

Your Responsibilities Actively identifying and pursuing new business opportunities in addition to allocated portfolioDeveloping and delivering sales proposals and presentations of Kuehne + Nagel products and servicesJoint sales calls to allocated customer portfolio from time to timeAssisting to develop strategies to enhance performance of your portfolio Your Skills and Experiences Previous experience in the New Zealand domestic transport industry is requiredKnowledge in international freight forwarding is advantageous, but not necessaryTrack record in solution based selling, and proven success in growing sales and marginsknowledgeable on various aspects, services, and products offered within the domestic transport marketImpeccable communication skills and personal presentationAmbitious and driven to exceed sales targets and KPI'sComputer systems savvy and ability to learn new packagesUse of reporting tools would be advantageous Good Reasons to Join - Competitive Base Salary + Bonus Incentive Scheme - Company Car or Car Allowance - Tools of the Trade - laptop, iPad, and mobile plan - Health Insurance
