    About the role

    A day in the life of a Senior Communications Partner, looks like :

  • Development and delivery of effective communications strategies and tactical plans ensuring internal and external stakeholders are informed and engaged
  • Produces quality communications material (pro-active and re-active) using a range of channels
  • Provides issues management advice and identifies potential communications risks and recommended mitigations
  • Collate community data to inform approach to communications strategy
  • Working with project teams to understand and provide advice on communications and engagement strategies
  • Monitor, analyse, advise and report on effectiveness of community communications and engagement activity
  • About you

    To succeed as a Senior Communications Partner, you will require :

  • Experience in relevant advisory role within Communications or Public Affairs
  • Proven experience in working with internal and / or external partners to deliver organisational outcomes.
  • Proven experience in dealing with significant and complex issues
  • Understanding of machinery of local government
