About the role
A day in the life of a Senior Communications Partner, looks like :
Development and delivery of effective communications strategies and tactical plans ensuring internal and external stakeholders are informed and engaged
Produces quality communications material (pro-active and re-active) using a range of channels
Provides issues management advice and identifies potential communications risks and recommended mitigations
Collate community data to inform approach to communications strategy
Working with project teams to understand and provide advice on communications and engagement strategies
Monitor, analyse, advise and report on effectiveness of community communications and engagement activity
To succeed as a Senior Communications Partner, you will require :
Experience in relevant advisory role within Communications or Public Affairs
Proven experience in working with internal and / or external partners to deliver organisational outcomes.
Proven experience in dealing with significant and complex issues
Understanding of machinery of local government
