This role is part of the NZ Sales team which operates as the channel to our customers and customer voice. We call this role a Senior Agri Manager.

This exciting new opportunity arises as a new role as part of an improved sales and delivery model at LIC.

The successful candidate will be based in the Waikato / Bay of Plenty region. Travel throughout the region will be required.

An attractive salary package including company vehicle and incentive package is on offer.

About You

Reporting to the Territory Manager, you will responsible for :

  • Developing and maintaining multi-faceted relationships within the Central North Island territory.
  • Having a strategic view of on farm opportunities that translate to economic outcomes for both the farmer and LIC;
  • Delivering value-driven, innovative solution-focused conversations that lead to business growth; and
  • Provide bespoke reporting and analysis for dairy farmers with multiple operations
  • Your Key Skills and Experience :

  • An in-depth knowledge of the agribusiness sector including the dairy industry;
  • Demonstrated ability to match solutions to customers;
  • You will be results focused with a proven track record of managing long term business relationships;
  • Ability to foster and develop relationships with customers who have multiple layers of management
  • Experience in in the collection and analysis of dairy herd performance measures
  • To be successful at LIC means you'll thrive in a fast-paced, busy environment and you'll be adaptable to change. You'll also enjoy working within a team of dedicated individuals, and be able to deliver a professional approach when working with a wide array of customers.
