Auckland City, AucklandContractYour RoleThis role sits within the Capital Projects and Asset Development (CPAD) group and is part of the Auckland Network Programme team.
As the Project Administrator you will provide a range of high-level administrative support to one of our three programmes, working closely with the Programme Manager.
You'll be kept busy working on a variety of tasks, overseeing our SharePoint site, collecting data and producing reports, managing diaries and travel.
You'll also need to work with project managers and help ensure the smooth operation of the project team.In the document control space, you will manage and oversee version control, naming conventions and file structures for your programme.
With solid experience in quality management systems and processes, you will take ownership of the entire function. The successful applicant will have a demonstrated history of successful performance in drafting documents, reviewing contracts and managing technical documents in a large and complex infrastructure environment.
We have three positions available, each within a different programme, all based in Sylvia Park with flexibility to travel to and work from site offices.
Our programmes are Wiri to Quay Park, Pukekohe to Papakura and City Rail Link. On offer is a three-year fixed term contract, with opportunities to develop and move within the KiwiRail business.
Your SkillsTo succeed in this role, you will have the ability to work independently on multiple tasks, prioritising what's important and maintaining a fast pace without compromising quality.
You'll be an experienced and mature administrator, with experience in document control. You are someone who is unflappable under pressure and skilled at managing a variety of task at the same time.
You are confident and competent, investigative by nature with an eye for detail. You are able to make sound decisions and manage up effectively.
Ideally you will have previous engineering and / or construction project coordination experience in a complex, busy environment.
