SO / Auckland is looking for talented individuals who want to shine in this truly unique environment are you SO?Role : Our SO / Spa Angels are responsible for delivering exceptional Spa experiences from guest check in to departure.
A part of this is retail and lifestyle recommendations ensuring our guests and clients have appropriate information and resources to continue their wellbeing journey once they leave their therapists care.
As an industry expert our SO / Spa Angels are the spa experience’ that guests will have as they entrust themselves in our care.
You will be expected to execute top level customer service, engage guests in consultation and repartee, while making them feel as if they have entered a completely different environment from the one they came from.
Duties and Responsibilities : Ensure operational shift runs smoothly, be familiar with booking schedule including reservation notes, ensuring guest requests are fulfilled and reservations are scheduled to optimize resourcesAccurately make reservations completing guests profile including : contact information, billing information and treatment preferencesEnsures guests records are accurate and up to date in reservation software including appointment history and product salesProcess all guest charges to the appropriate credit card, folio or account.
Handle all transactions efficiently and accurately, balancing accounts at the end of each shift.Confirmation and cancellation procedures are seamlessly followed at all timesFocus on sense of guest arrival / departure, cleanliness, ambience, and overall Wellness experienceAll opportunities to form long-
term relationships are maximised as are any guest recovery opportunitiesEmpathetic, friendly, and able to make people feel beautiful inside and outKnowledgeable in all areas of retail and treatments.
Able and available to answer any questions that guests may have and give them feedback and demonstration if applicable; with an ability to execute suggestive and add-
on salesEnsures facilities are well maintained, monitors any housekeeping or maintenance issues in the Wellness area and reports directly to relevant department, keeping record and informing Spa Manager of any major or ongoing issuesReports any low stock to Spa supervisor or managerParticipates in regular meetings with Spa team to discuss any operational challenges, promotional activities, training, and hotel movementsPersonality and Skills : Exceptional written and verbal communication skillsPrevious customer service experience, preferably within the hospitality industryExceptional grooming & articulate in communicationOrganizes time and work efficientlyAppreciates and maintains an effective outlet for stressHas the ability and willingness to undertake further developmentWorks under pressure without negative impactDevelops and maintains co-
