SCOPE :

Responsible for the installation and servicing of chemical dosing equipment across customer sites

RESPONSIBILITIES :

Follows installation procedures according to the manufactures specifications and Diversey best practice. Install dosing equipment in the correct location, in a neat and tidy manner and to the New Zealand electrical standards and other relative standards.

Conducts visits to customer’s premises to repair equipment where there is a reported incidence of breakdown.

Performs preventative maintenance of dosing equipment at customer’s premises to keep equipment fully operational.

Repairs non-functioning equipment which has been returned to the workshop.

Ensures all electronic service reports are completed on time.

Liaises with colleagues where required

Completes required reports and expenses on a monthly basis.

Ensures the tool of trade vehicle is maintained and kept in a tidy manner

Travels regionally, as required, to repair and install dosing equipment.

REPORTING

The role will provide regular reports as directed.

Responsibilities :

Ensures compliance to company policy including business ethics policy, Employee Health and Safety policy and guidelines, car policy, travel and expense policy, mobile phone policy (including compliance with BOS company policies as it pertains to operating in their environment)

If driving a company motor vehicle ensure the vehicle is operated and serviced within the company car policy guidelines.

Complies with travel and expense policy, policy for use for mobile phones, computers and all other company assets in the possession of the employee.

The incumbent will, at all times, adopts safe working practices and ensure compliance with company policies, values, corporate strategy and quality systems, paying particular attention to the ISO 900l : 2000 operating procedures, ensuring such procedures are documented, implemented and non-compliances are corrected as quickly and effectively as possible.

Strict adherence to rules and regulations as laid down by local authorities and government departments is also required

KNOWLEDGE / EXPERIENCE / PERSON PROFILE

Chemical Hygiene and Food Industry background.

Experience in service, repairs and installation of equipment

Have excellent customer relation and communication skills both verbal and written.

Able to travel for short / periods of time mainly in New Zealand

Computer literacy in Word, Excel and Google mail intermediate.

Have experience with electronic reporting such as IMap

Have an Electrical or Mechanical background trade base minimum with basic plumbing skills.

Required : EWRB license

Comfortable working in a large organisation with a matrix organisational structure.

Police Check is required by Diversey customers

Flu vaccination is required by Diversey customers.

Current New Zealand drivers license

Can negotiate with customers and with internal contacts to solve issues and implement business plans. Understands customers business, challenges and opportunities and is able to match what the company has to offer in an effective manner.

Presents company products and credentials with confidence and credibility.

EDUCATION / MINIMUM JOB REQUIREMENTS

Training / Trade Certifications (preferred, electrical & Test and Tag)

Valid driver’s license
