About The Role : Through effective and positive relationship building and exceptional organisation skills, provide account management services to assigned customers.

Responsibility to optimise the financial return from customers the retention and recruitment of profitable customers, elimination of poor performing customers or works and attention to reduce and eliminate costly waste.

This role is also accountable for achieving growth of business in the nominated geographic territory, through proactive management of the existing clients to maximize jobs, and by ensuring strong leads for potential clients and events.

Assist with the planning and development of the overall business development strategy for Evolution in conjunction with the General Manager.

About the company : Our client specialises in Traffic management for construction, events, TMPS and more they are interested in helping their clients achieve their goals, by offering their expertise and helping them work more efficiently and safely, while simultaneously keeping the public safe with as little disruption as possible. Your duties will include :

Manage, support and service the account related needs of an assigned set of customers, entering client contact and requirements in relevant systems.

Increase Gross profit margin in line with the budget expectations for each financial year.

Strategise and prioritise sizable project works to pursue (eg partnerships, key contact persons, capability, budget forecasting etc).

Preparation of quotes & tenders for the business pricing committee.

Critically evaluate current job cards for potential income and efficiencies

Providing up to date reports when requested in a timely manner.

Enter data into Salesforce tracking of opportunities and call cycles for NZ business.

Maintaining Key Relationships.

Experience Required :

3 - 5 years of relevant experience (Key Account Management, BDM experience) in construction or traffic management would be an advantage.

Knowledge of Construction - Building Industry or Event, Film, Utility works or Traffic Management would be required!!!

Sound planning, budgeting, and analytical skills

Ability to create an environment where people feel valued and responsible as part of a positive culture.

Well-developed ability to analyse situations, solve problems and seek assistance from appropriate sources.
