The Technical Sales Engineer will be responsible for maintaining timely and accurate communication with clients. Good written and verbal communication skills are required, to answer simple questions as well as liaising with different departments to deal with more intricate issues.
While representing themselves as a first point of contact for Hvac Hero, this individual will maintain professional communication and will be as helpful as possible to support internal and external customers.
Hvac Hero's Customer Service Representative will help develop the tone and voice that will portray the brand.
Your duties include but are not limited to :
Meet, greet and delight our customers
Actively promote our products and services
Assist with administration as required
Multi task, prioritise and work well in a high pressured environment
Have a can-do attitude and willingness to learn and upskill
Invoicing & credit claims
Handling of customer complaints
Sales team support
Liaising with national carriers, logistics team, and global freight forwarders
Coordination with accounts team
Coordination of incoming shipments with operations team
Coordination of inventory control
Accurate data entry
Provide estimates and quotes as per customers' requirements
Select, pack and despatch goods daily
Manage customer enquiries and e-mails
Arrange orders and deliveries of goods to customers
Cash handling, invoicing and purchasing products
End of month sales reporting
The ideal candidate will have :
A can-do attitude with experience and / or knowledge in show room sales, distribution or manufacturing or
Degree / Diploma / Trade Certificate in : Mechanical / Electrical / Electromechanical / Production / Operations Management
Ability to work well in a small team environment
Accuracy and attention to detail
Computer skills - enjoy learning new technology
Ablity to work in a fast-paced environment
Highly motivated; enjoy working independently and taking ownership
Ability to liaise with each division of the organisation (management / sales / warehouse / marketing / finance)
Willingness to learn
Great sense of humour
Excellent organisation skills and the ability to work autonomously
A passion for engineering
High competency and must be able to read / measure plans

Must have an NZ driver's licence and ability to learn and drive manual and auto vehicles
There will be some heavy lifting required
