GPC Asia Pacific is a global leader within the Automotive industry We’re best known in NZ for our iconic Repco brand, however it's not always known that we comprise of several other significant automotive businesses, which you will work closely with in this position.

About the RoleReporting to the GM Marketing & Retail Strategy and our ANZ Marketing Team, you will be responsible for production and execution of trade marketing and events.

This is a key position within our marketing team and you will often be regarded as an influencer who can make things happen in a cross-functional environment and support the development and execution of the marketing plan of this significant B2B business.

Duties include : Create and execute marketing initiatives that drive engagement, sales, trading margin and growth across our trade channelsPlan and managed end-to-end catalogue production, store promotions and trade magazine materialBuild and maintain strong relationships with all key internal and external stakeholdersBrief and manage production, including all forms of mediaSupport the branch network to execute promotional activityManage agency and vendor relationshipsEvent management of local marketing eventsMonitor and report on all competitor intelligence and activityAnalyse efficacy of marketing in order to innovate and improveSkills & ExperienceHaving come from an extensive marketing background, you will be able to demonstrate where you have been successful in executing marketing initiatives.

This is a fast-paced environment, where your strong organisational and project management skills will hold you in good stead, but you’ll also be dedicated to high quality execution, demonstrating a passion for building relationships and providing support to those who support our customers - Our best is what defines our customer’s experience.

You will bring : 5+ years’ experience with marketingDemonstrated ability to plan, prioritize and manage processes and budgets to achieve required outcomes within tight timeframesExperience working across a range of marketing channelsStrong communication and coordinator skills, adapting to a range of different stakeholdersProven experience in event management for your businessAn understanding of automotive or trade marketing would be an advantageIntermediate to advance skills using Microsoft Office SuiteWe have a fantastic culture across the network, and looking for someone to join our Marketing Team, who thrives under pressure in a high performance environment.
