QA Product Specialist

Due to an internal promotion, we now have a great opportunity for an experienced QA Product Specialist to further their career in a successful global animal pharmaceutical business.

This role sits in the Quality Assurance team and works closely with the Production teams manufacturing our products. The right candidate needs to be committed to providing a high level of internal customer service, be proactive and have a genuine interest in achieving high quality standards, complying with cGMP.

By nature, you will be a problem-solver, have high accuracy and attention to detail coupled with an analytical and investigative mind.

You’ll also need to have strong relationship building skills to work collaboratively with internal teams. This role needs to work at a face paced make quick decisions and being proactive to resolve issues and ensure Production meets it’s goals while staying within set quality standards.

Your day will be kept busy with :

  • Provide line clearances and in-process quality checks
  • Review and approve quality and production documents
  • Review batch documents and analytical results
  • Provide guidance and best practice advice on quality and GMP matters to the Production and Quality Control departments
  • Active involvement in non-compliance investigations and approval
  • Interact with external customers including the preparation of the certificate of analysis
  • Assist with training, review and approval of change control and continuous improvement initiatives
  • What you’ll have in your QA toolkit is :

  • Relevant bachelor degree in a related field
  • A minimum of 3 years’ experience working in a cGMP manufacturing or testing environment
  • Sound understanding and knowledge of practices and principles of cGMP compliance in the manufacture and testing of pharmaceutical products
  • Demonstrated leadership skills
  • Ability to work within a team as well as an individual who is accountable for their own performance
  • Strong time management with a focus on solutions and a positive outcome
  • Excellent verbal and written communication
  • Confident decision making in resolution of quality issues
