Kick off 2020 with a move to Burnsco, a successful specialist retailer with a national network.Our friendly Finance team are looking for a collections specialist to handle our growing trade and wholesale business dealing with new accounts, monthly invoices, customers’ queries and reconciliations and following up late payments.
Although you will have at least 2 years’ experience in Credit Control / Accounts Receivable, you will benefit from the support and development offered by our Accountant and Head of Finance.
You will be the kind of methodical, organised person who appreciates our clear processes, policies and procedures.You will have a good telephone manner and be confident and effective calling customers to discuss their accounts, including outstanding debts.
You will be strong on detail and keen to take ownership of this function, while also being a helpful member of the team and willing to fill in with other Finance tasks as required.
You will be numerate with intermediate Microsoft Office skills, particularly Excel.
Our suburban East Auckland location means you can leave central City traffic jams and parking problems behind. Our modern Head Office has glorious views over the sea and Half Moon Bay Marina and is situated in a handy development including supermarket, cafes and bars, doctor, chemist, childcare centre, gym and more.
We need this role covered for 4 or 5 days per week, with a total of 16-20 hours per week. Working within school hours might suit you best.
