  • The RoleThe Operations Development Manager would be responsible for the successful acceptance and integration of new public transport infrastructure throughout Auckland, including current portfolio projects such as CRL, Wiri to Quay Park and Papakura to Pukekohe electrification;
  • and would also lead current projects, including the development and integration of network control centres; new and upgraded stations.

    Key Responsibilities include : Developing stakeholder acceptance for a Concept of Operations, Benefits Realisation and Network Integration plan that would cover all operational, stakeholder and customer deliverables of each project.

    Understanding the safety, reliability, availability, operability, maintainability and performance risks and developing plans for their mitigations with the wider AT Operations Mobilisation team.

    Supporting the development and publication of an integrated Auckland Access Plan, with agreed 5-year Block of Line programme with KiwiRail, and other stakeholders.

    Taking a lead role as the key specialist and point of contact in rail development projects relating to programs of work being managed by the projects ensuring that Network needs are met and that strong stakeholder relationships are maintained.

    We are looking for : Extensive experience in transport operations in a high frequency, integrated transport network, preferably including railway, airline or airport experience.

    Demonstrable experience with the introduction and integration of passenger transport infrastructureWorking in a fast moving, regulated environment with multiple stakeholders.

    Knowledge of Project Management techniquesDesirable will be experience of testing, commissioning or acceptance of transport infrastructure and the application of railway specific standards, such as EN50126What's in it for YOU?
