We are a locally owned well established Electrical Wholesaler with eight branches throughout the South Island. We service the commercial, domestic, and industrial electrical market, and pride ourselves on the trusted relationships we build with our clients, and our collaborative, positive team culture.

We are on the hunt for two team players to join us in Dunedin :

Sales Professional / Estimator / Contract Pricing

We are looking for someone who brings a successful track record in sales, pricing or growing market share and who is looking to further their professional career in Dunedin.

This is a diverse and interesting role for a highly motivated, ambitious team player. You will need to have a head for numbers and ?

nancial information, and be someone who genuinely enjoys dealing with our clients. We offer competitive remuneration, a company vehicle and a positive, vibrant working environment.

We need the following attributes.

  • Excellent interpersonal skills : You are a self-starter, a good communicator and work ?exibly to get the best from your clients and your team.
  • You can deal with di?erent personalities and you are someone who keeps a cool head under pressure.

  • Trustworthy and organised : You are well organised, reliable and operate with integrity. While you enjoy being in a team, you are equally comfortable working autonomously and settng your own goals.
  • You thrive in roles which require problem solving and analytical skills.

  • Proven success in success in sales, business development and account management : You are successful when it comes to cold calling’ and developing new business opportunities.
  • You are an experienced negotiator and are comfortable working with ?nancial information and sales data.

    Ideally you will also have trade or technical experience in the electrical or building industry.

    Counter Sales

    If you are keen to embark on a career in the electrical industry, then this is an exceptional opportunity to join a team who will support your development.

    You will be responsible for internal branch sales (including telephone and online orders), stock ordering and general warehouse duties.

    We’re looking for someone who can grasp computer programmes and online systems, and who ticks the

    following boxes :

  • You’re positive, professional, and honest. You’ll have a can-do attitude, be reliable and punctual, and be someone who wants to work hard in a team.
  • You’re keen to roll your sleeves up and go the extra mile for the success of our team and our clients. We pride ourselves on delivering exceptional service, every day.
  • You’re a good communicator. You will enjoy dealing with a variety of people by phone, email, and face to face.
  • We also need someone who doesn’t get ?ustered and who has a good sense of humour; because while we work hard, we also enjoy ourselves.

    You may have some experience or understanding of the electrical industry already, but if you are motivated to learn and are a proven team player, we’ll help you learn.
